Therapy Dog teams

Quietly we walk in and touch the heart. Fuzzy wiggles, smiles by all and like an undercover agent we quietly walk out having changed the very soul of those we visited.  

Being at the other end of the leash when your dog works it's magic is life changing. Therapy dogs can just know when someone needs a visit or when a person needs encouragement. Dogs come into rooms with big smiles, tails a wagging and sharing unconditional love. Dog training becomes the core of these dogs as they visit with confidence. 

Yes, the love is unconditional to everyone, no matter their background, rich or poor, disabled or not, and regardless of race. They are genuine, and authentic visitors that light up everywhere they go.  

They give courage to the one struggling to learn how to read, to the one learning to walk again, to the one remembering the good old days. 

And YOU, YOU are the one on the other end of the leash sharing that magic, being a blessing to your community.

Therapy dogs do require a higher level of dog training.  It is important they are good around everyone, listen the asked to do something, leave whatever is on the floor.  We train them so if someone talks differently or walks differently they don't react negatively but rather with happy wags and smiles.
